These mushrooms are

POISONOUS

and can kill you. Do not eat these. Actually you shouldn't eat any mushroom growing in the wild unless you really know what you are doing!!! They can make make you very sick or even dead!

I believe they are an introduced species in Australia. I have never seen them before so I don't know how common they are. These were growing in someones front yard.

Also I used to the term 'Magic' in reference to fairies etc as I have mostly seen these mushrooms in pictures associated with this. It is not a reference to mushroom "popping" of any sort!
